Community Coaches at the Riots come from our parent members. Each Coach or Assistant Coach must have a valid WWC Check before the commencement of each new season.

Become a Referee
It is always a proud moment to see a junior player become a coach, or take on the challenge of learning more about the game as an official.
We are all participants in the sport we love – basketball – and members of a great club and association.
To become a referee, complete the form below to attend the next intake of CDBA Beginner Referee School.
Once qualified and working within the CDBA, the Richmond Riots will reimburse the cost to complete the course.
Older Riots players who already referee and want to up-skill and complete the next level of referee course, can apply to have these costs reimbursed from the club.
